VICTIM BLAMING!

If I come and stomp on your foot, you'd be angry at me, right?
If I waltz on up to you and stole your phone, that's my bad, right?
If I drop a piano on you, who's fault is that?

Okay, so I think it's safe to say that all of those scenarios would leave the blame squarely on me.

So... Why am I at risk for being blamed if I get raped?

Nobody would ever go and try and pick fault on the victim of a bank robbery, but, surely them having a bank left them open to being in that situation? No?

I am not what I wear.

Your clothing choices should not have any factor in whether you're raped.
Rape is not about a fashion decision, a choice of lovers or the kind of selfie you take.
Rape is, however, about a person using force to engage in unwarranted sexual activities. Forcing another to do something that they don't consent to.

So, stomping on your foot, my fault.

Stealing your phone, my fault.
Rape is the rapists fault.

Quit blaming the victim.
