Nobody's mental health or mental illness is our business. Everyone has the right to live however they want.
Whether or not she is mentally well is as much our business as anyone else's mental wellness.
Nobody owes us anything, but least of which their health. Nobody owes us their time. Everyone should be able to attend a restaurant, store, whatever location, and behave in any way they want shy of hurting themselves or others.
Further, how would it be reasonable to expect a calm and measured response from a person when they're being forced to perform in an expected way by individuals they've never met while simply trying to enjoy new found freedom they've had stolen from them?
There is something quite terrifying about the idea that a public person should need to uphold a certain level of approachability at all times, to maintain the persona, to be on display like a zoo animal, and be scrutinised for it too; no less by the people holding the camera.
Sure, it's cliche, but leave Britney alone.
